Moving to New York City for this opportunity was gold. The people were bold and fun, and I got to wear many hats, touching on digital and content marketing, creative design, analytics, sales, and video production.
I loved startups but wanted to see things from the other side of the table. Joining a venture capital exposed me to the way they analyzed and identified industry trends, assess pitches and network.

I had incredibly fun and brilliant bosses, Greg and Janelle, who made my experience truly impeccable. I touched on various marketplaces such as Facebook, Redmart, Shopify and Lazada, and worked closely with Aaron and Linda to put together an influencer program for Martell NCF. A place with lots to learn (and lots to drink).
Arguably one of the best work experiences you can get as a 20 year old.

Started a youth-centric events company at 19, closing out over USD $300,000 in under a year. We helped Martell conceptualize & execute their product launch in 2016, a quarter-million dollar project. Other fun projects include a cruise rave, post-prom events and houseparties.
